📋 How to Donate to Charity in Russia
In essence, charitable activity in Russia is governed by Federal Law No. 135-FZ “On Charitable Activities”. Consequently, when you decide to donate to charity, it is important to understand the legal framework.
Furthermore, charitable donations can be made in various ways: bank transfer, via payment systems, or in cash. Thus, we accept donations via the bank details specified on the “Support the Project” page.
💡 Important Information About Tax Relief
Tax relief on charitable donations is a right available to every taxpayer. According to Article 219 of the Russian Tax Code, you may reclaim 13% of the donation amount.
Tax relief on charitable donations is granted subject to the following conditions:
- You are a tax resident of the Russian Federation
- You have official income subject to personal income tax (NDFL)
- The donation was made formally (with payment documentation)
- The donation amount does not exceed 25% of your annual income
Finally, tax relief on charitable donations can be claimed through the tax authority at your place of residence or via your employer.
📄 Charitable Donation Agreement
Moreover, for substantial donations, a charitable donation agreement may be concluded. Such an agreement is a legal document that regulates the rights and obligations of the parties.
In essence, charity as a moral duty does not require a formal agreement, but for transparency and accountability we are prepared to provide all necessary documentation.
